板式冷却器是汽车冷却系统中最重要的组成部分，通常是由出水室、进水室以及主片与散热器芯片共同组合而成的。板式冷却器的结构简单，且经济高效，在性能方面也随着时代的发展也在不断的加强。在板式冷却器的使用中，有时候会有不进水的状况发生。

有的时候并不是加不进去水，而是感觉并没有加多少水，但是散热器就已经显示加水加满，但是行车距离没有多少的时候就又显示缺水，也就是我们平时所说的“虚量”。

上述两种情况大都是因为节温器的原因造成的。正常情况下当我们加水的时候，节温器阀门上的小孔是需要泄流的，但是如果这两个小孔堵塞的话，就会出现气体无法正常排出，进而导致冷水并没有充满水套的时候就显示加满，其实还是缺水的。
